Researchers in government, academia and industry will gather at the U.S. Climate Change Technology Program conference, October 12-14, 2004, in Rockville, MD, to hear senior U.S. government representative discuss the $2.3 billion in FY 2005 R&D investments in a diverse portfolio of energy supply technologies deemed crucial to strengthening our ability to meet the climate change challenge. The event is designed to provide the most current, updated information about the opportunities to participate in the R&D for four energy supply technologies: hydrogen, clean coal, renewables, and nuclear. The event will provide the venue to learn about the goals and needs of the government and to better understand what you can do to maximize your involvement in the energy supply technologies R&D.

The conference will be preceded by two outstanding technology symposia:

  1. The State of the Art in Hydrogen Technologies R&D
  2. The State of the Art in Clean Coal Technologies R&D

The event will also include a networking reception where representatives from government, industry, and academia will come together to explore opportunities for partnering and collaboration and to showcase innovative climate change technology capabilities.
