As the biggest event in the sector of renewable energy
in Asia, this fair attracted a big amount of international bodies and
associations, of which includes World Renewable Energy Council, International
Sustainable Energy Organization (ISEO), Chinese Renewable Energy Industries
Association, Chinese Solar Energy Society, Europen Solar Association,
Organizations for the Promotion of Energy Technology (OPET), Australian
Renewable Energy Association, Delegations of German Industry & Commerce
and GTZ.
In the meantime, the first Asian International Renewable
Energy Conference was also held in the China International Science &
Technology Convention Center. There were over 200 experts from more than 20
countries include USA, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Belgium,
Netherlands, Swiss, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Australia, Japan, Korea, India,
Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine, Taiwan and Hong Kong etc. coming over to
Beijing to attend Seminars. The conference has covered the following topics:
Photovoltaic, Bio-Energy, Geothermal, Micro Hydro, Marine Energy, Solar
Thermal, Wind Energy, Energy Issues on Transport Technology and Development,
and Renewable Energy Policy, Financing funding and services.
