California Million Solar Roofs Update

The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) said there has been a change in the hearing schedule for the Million Solar Roofs bill in California. SB 1 will be put on the Suspense File in Assembly Appropriations Committee on Wednesday, August 24th. SEIA expects intense behind-the-scenes negotiations in order to get the bill out of the suspense file and up for a vote. The 26th is the deadline for all fiscal bills to clear Appropriations Committee. If the bill clears Appropriations, it will head to the Assembly Floor where it must pass by the last day of session, September 9th.
