CO2 Solution Inc. ("CO2 Solution") has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Babcock & Wilcox Company ("B&W"), a world leader in the design, manufacture, construction and service of power generation and pollution control systems and equipment.

The two companies have agreed to enter into formal discussions to clarify their mutual interest in investigating the efficacy of CO2 Solution's enzyme- based CO2 capture and sequestration technology for application to carbon-based power generation systems.

Ghislain Theberge, President of CO2 Solution, said, "we have identified the industrial sector of coal-fired power plants in the USA and Canada as a major target for our technology, and we see B&W as the ideal partner to do tests in this field."
