Recycling center
receives $100,000 to promote e-recycling in W.Va.
Dec. 27The National Center for Electronics
Recycling has received a $100,000 award to promote electronics recycling
in West Virginia.
The NCER is teaming up with the West Virginia Department of
Environmental Protection and recyclers Amandi Services and SDR
Technologies to host a series of electronics collection events
throughout the state in 2006.
The West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation dispensed the
grant.
Amandi Services will recycle the used electronics, and SDR
Technologies will accept plastics from demanufactured devices collected
at the events.
