France, Germany, Italy and The Netherlands are the biggest importers of gas in Europe.
Between them, the four countries import considerably more gas than the rest of
Europe put together, at over 215,000 mm cm.
However, The Netherlands is the only country of the four whose exports
significantly offset imports, let alone are greater than imports, with exports
almost double the amount of gas that it imports.
