How Did Your Senator Vote on legislation to reduce global warming?

Did your senator vote "Yea" or "Nay" for greenhouse gas legislation that would reduce global warming? The legislation is the McCain-Lieberman Climate Stewardship Act, which would create:

  • first-ever limits on U.S. greenhouse gas emissions
  • investment in energy-efficient technology & renewable energy
  • a flexible emissions trading program to reduce costs to industry
  • critical funding to help wildlife adjust to a changing climate

The vote took place on June 22, 2005 and even though it failed to pass, it shows strong bipartisan momentum to address this issue.
