PETERHEAD is set for a massive jobs windfall after plans for an environmentally-friendly power station have been given the go- ahead.

 

The pounds 330million facility will use natural gas to produce electricity.

 

A spokesman for Scottish & Southern Energy, who will run the plant, said the new facility is likely to create 'hundreds' of jobs
