Good news for solar energy:

Yesterday, the California Million Solar Roofs bill (SB1) was approved by the State Senate by a vote of 28-3. The bill now moves to the CA State Assembly where it will face several more critical votes over the next few months. Thank you to the more 5000 people who emailed their legislators in response to action alerts from 15 different public interest, environmental and solar industry groups.

Pressure from the public can play a decisive role in tipping the balance toward strong pro-solar policies.
