Thanks to all of you who emailed the California State Legislature in support of the Million Solar Roofs bill (SB1). After being unanimously approved by the Senate Energy Committee, the bill now goes to the Senate Appropriations Committee.

The opponents of this bill, primarily the utilities, argue that California can't afford to provide incentives for solar energy. But when all the costs of our dependence on fossil fuels are taken into account, the truth is that we can't afford not to. Please let the California Legislature know how important it is to invest in the clean energy technologies of tomorrow and pass the Million Solar Roofs bill.
