Computer Recyclers of America is opening California´s largest e-waste recycling facility in Fresno, the company said.

"This new facility is the harbinger of a new and powerful American industry and places Fresno at the epicenter of a trend that will bring more jobs and a cleaner environment to our communities," said CRA President and CEO John Shegerian.

The site can process up to 5 million pounds of electronic waste per month and provides central California with its first facility for dropping off unwanted TV sets and computer monitors free of charge, the company said.
