GreenFuel Technologies Corporation, a privately held company providing emissions-to-biofuels(TM) conversion services to power plants and industrial facilities, today announced it has been selected for recognition by the American Society of Competitiveness (ASC) at its 2005 awards ceremony, taking place at the Double Tree Hotel & Executive Meeting Center-Tysons Corner in Falls Church, VA this Thursday, November 10th. GreenFuel is to receive an ASC Medallion "for Energy Competitiveness through Innovative Technology and Environmental Leadership in Emerging Global Markets."

Three senior members of GreenFuel management will accept the award on behalf of the company: Cary Bullock, GreenFuel President and CEO; Dr. Isaac Berzin, GreenFuel founder and CTO; and Paul Rozianko, GreenFuel Director and Head of International Marketing. Mr. Bullock commented, "GreenFuel is committed to a business model based on creating compelling competitive advantage for our customers. We are delighted by ASC's foresight to honor our company with this expressly market-oriented award."

The three executives will also take part in a panel discussion, offering a glimpse into the evolution of the company's innovative emissions-to-biofuels process and the emerging global demand for new emissions management options. "This award is a very gratifying endorsement for our emissions-to-biofuels process," offered Dr. Berzin. "By converting smokestack gases into renewable fuel stocks, we believe GreenFuel can indeed achieve global impact."

Named for internationally famed quality expert Philip B. Crosby, author of the landmark book "Quality is Free," the ASC awards have been issued annually since 1994 to individuals and corporations demonstrating excellence in competitiveness and quality. Past honorees include Siemens Corporation, Coca-Cola, and Gillette. GreenFuel was selected to receive a 2005 ASC Medallion for its strategic application of innovative technology to simultaneously serve two rapidly developing, tightly coupled sectors: energy supply and emissions control.
