ICE to resume Henry Hub physical natural gas spot trades Friday

Houston (Platts)--6Oct2005
IntercontinentalExchange, an electronic energy commodity trading
platform, Thursday said it will resume on Friday trading of same-day,
next-day, intra month, and balance-of-month physical gas products at the Henry
Hub in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana.
Sabine Pipe Line LLC Thursday said it will lift its force majeure at
another pipeline interconnect with Henry Hub effective Friday, bringing the
number of its operational interconnects at the hub to seven.
In a notice to shippers, the company said it will end its force majeure
on shipments from Henry Hub to Jefferson Island.
The latest notice comes a day after Sabine said it would accept hub
nominations for Thursday deliveries from Sabine to the Acadian pipeline,
receipts from the Jefferson Island pipeline to Sabine and receipts from and
deliveries to Trunkline Gas.
The pipeline earlier this week lifted its force majeure for receipts from
Natural Gas Pipeline Co of America, deliveries to and receipts from Gulf South
Pipeline and deliveries to Columbia Gulf Transmission.
The force majeure the pipeline declared Sept 22 because of Hurricane Rita
remains in effect for hub interconnects with the other six pipelines that
connect with the South Louisiana facility. Henry Hub, the delivery point named
in NYMEX's natural gas futures contract, suffered flood damage and lost power
during the hurricane.
NYMEX on Tuesday lifted the force majeure it declared on October and
September deliveries under its contracts.
