CHICAGO, Sept 15 (Reuters) - Privately held
Biofuel Solutions said on Thursday it was planning to build an ethanol
plant in Fairmont, Minnesota, with the capacity to produce 110 million
gallons of the biofuel a year. The plant would source 41 million bushels
of corn a year from local grain elevators to produce the ethanol, and more
than 375,000 tons of dry distiller grain for animal feed.
Colorado-based Biofuel Solutions, which develops and invests in
renewable energy projects in North America, did not disclose the cost of
the plant but said construction was expected to begin in the first quarter
of 2006.
