Generator Malfunction Stops Bulgarian Nuclear Reactor

[Antonova] After the generator switched off the automatic protection was
activated and the third reactor was stopped, the Kozloduy N-Plant Information
Centre pointed out. The Information Centre also emphasized that all systems
which guarantee the reactor's safety have functioned normally.
At the moment operations are being conducted to bring the reactor to its
minimum capacity. The cause of the generator's malfunction has been established.
It is expected that later on during the day the third reactor will be
reconnected to the country's grid. According to the international system of
assessing events at nuclear power plants, the event has been assessed at zero
hazard level.
The Nuclear Regulation Agency has been informed about the third reactor
