DTE Breaks Ground on Hydrogen Technology Park.
DTE Energy broke ground on its Hydrogen Technology Park, a pilot project that will model a complete, multi-use hydrogen energy system. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will provide 49 percent of the funding for the $3 million, three-year project, which will result in a system capable of delivering about 100,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year – enough to power a small office building or about 20 homes – and enough compressed hydrogen gas to fuel three vehicles per day. http://www.dteenergy.com/pressRoom/pressReleases/hydrogenParkGroundBreaking.html?searchType=&searchValue=DTE+Energy
