The State of New Mexico through the New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD), is requesting proposals to perform a feasibility study to define and scope a specific, viable utility scale project or projects using concentrating solar power (CSP) technology in New Mexico. Approximately $190,000 is available for the work of this Request for Proposals (RFP). EMNRD is seeking to identify and retain a consulting firm to conduct a comprehensive study that includes an assessment for integrating various perspectives from state, federal and local jurisdictions, as well as private industry that ultimately leads to the identification of an economically viable CSP project or projects. Ten copies of the proposals must be received at EMNRD's Energy Conservation and Management Division (ECMD) Office, 1220 S. St. Francis Drive, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 87505 no later than 4 p.m. MDT, Monday, July 19, 2004. Faxed or e-mailed proposals shall not be accepted.
