Managing Director of Esfahan Petrochemical Company, Mostajeran said that
petrochemical sector would be self-sufficient in near future. He put the country's chemical colours consumption rate at 140,000 tons in the
past Iranian calendar year of 1382 (March 21, 2003-March 20, 2004), and
expressed hope that production of chemicals would rise in the current year.

Fair, Mostajeran said that the government has seriously adopted the policy of
privatisation in petrochemical industry.
