PNM To Introduce Enviro Director

The Public Service Company of New Mexico is holding an open house today to introduce Santa Fe to the company's new director of environmental sustainability.
Jeff Burks, who recently accepted the position, has 25 years of experience in energy policy, energy efficiency and renewable energy, and was most recently energy policy coordinator for the state of Utah.
Burks is tasked with helping PNM incorporate environmental sustainability into its business model and ensure the company's new environmental goals are achieved by 2009, according to a PNM announcement.
The open house is 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Randall Davey Audubon Center at the end of Upper Canyon Road.
