Dear colleague
Announcing the Renewable Energy Finance Forum (REFF) to take place on June
23-24 2004 at the Metropolitan Club in New York City, sponsored by the
American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) and Euromoney Energy Events, a
wholly owned subsidiary of Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC.
Why Now?
The Renewables finance market is vibrant and emerging in 2004-2005 with
opportunities for both financiers and developers, offering significant economic
gains with over $15 billion in annual installations of renewable energy systems
around the world. The renewable energy markets are booming in Europe and
beginning to emerge at a substantial level in the US.
What is New?
The aim of this event is to show the opportunities that exist in the RE finance
market in the US and worldwide, educate the financial community about the
important aspects of successful deals and risks to be avoided and bridge the gap
between the US and European RE finance. This forum will be the professional
focal point for major players within the US and international RE finance and
development sector.
Program
The REFF program will consist of plenary sessions where top-ranked leaders of
financial institutions and other organizations involved in RE will present and
discuss financing techniques and best practices in RE finance. Sessions with
industry-specific focus will allow discussions among participants. The evening
networking reception on June 23 will provide an ideal opportunity for
maximum interaction between the delegates and expert speakers.
