Gas Group BG pumps up profits

The gas guzzling US is the market for the GAS Group BG.  It has three ports on the east coast from which to import liquefied natural gas.  El Paso,  will pipe gas down the west coast to California.

US gas imports are rising at 20% a year.  Rivals are scrambling for import terminals but BG got in early. 

Profits have soared 62% for BG.
