WHAT
A two-day celebration of renewable energy, green building, organic farming, social change and inspired living for the entire family. This fun-filled educational weekend features more than 150 exhibitors, 60 workshops, keynote speakers, entertainment and a special "KidsZone" filled with games, art projects and more, all located in seven separate tented areas. Presented by Kyocera in cooperation with the City of Scottsdale.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:
Solar energy, ecological literacy, green building, hydrogen, spirituality, the environment, even the greening of Hollywood, have all been covered by our illustrious main stage speakers. This year stepping up to the podium will be the president of the American Hydrogen Association Roy McAlister. Actor and environmental advocate Ed Begley, Jr. will be joining us. Ed is involved in the Environmental Media Association (EMA), which is working to "green up" television and the movies. Dan Chiras, Ph.D., author of 20 books, including the best-selling book The Natural House: A Complete Guide to Healthy, Energy-Efficient, Environmental Homes will also share his insights with us. David Orr from Oberlin College and author of the landmark book Earth in Mind and a new book, The Refuge will offer us pragmatic and sound solutions to our present day challenges. Don't miss Hunter Lovins co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Institute offering market-based solutions that fosters the efficient and restorative use of natural, human and other capital.

MARKETPLACE:
Feast your eyes on an abundance of health-inspired products and services from around the globe and our own backyard. You can feel good making purchases that represent your values and the values of a sustainable society.

In the Alternative Vehicle Area, witness vehicles available today and some that are moving us into tomorrow. Stroll through the City of Scottsdale Pavilion and learn about one of only a handful of complete and innovative Green Building Programs in the nation. At the Natural Home Showcase, you'll learn how to improve indoor air quality with nontoxic products from the ground up: healthy flooring, bedding, linens, paint, cabinets and furniture. Finally, in our Natural Food Court, parents can feel good about sending children to "grab a bite," knowing that the food available at SolFest will be delicious and nutritious.

ENTERTAINMENT:
SolFest features entertainment and activities for the entire family...

Visit the YOGA D'OM presented by Body & Soul Magazine for revitalizing yoga classes. While you're there, be sure to enter the "Nurture Your Body & Soul" Sweepstakes for a chance to win a beautiful gift basket filled with goodies for the yoga student.
