PARIS - French oilfield services group Technip (TECF.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) said this week it had won a contract from Cenex Harvest States for the design, engineering, procurement and construction of a hydrogen plant in the United States.
Technip said the hydrogen plant will use its state-of-the-art steam-reforming technology and the design will be tailored for a high degree of energy efficiency as well as environmental compliance employing ultra low-NOx combustion.
The plant is scheduled for completion in February 2005, Technip said.
