UK study predicts huge green growth:
No, not mold.
UK's renewable energy sector could grow to between £15 billion-19 billion (US$27 billion-34.5 billion) in capital expenditures by year 2020, UK's Utility Week quoted a Mott MacDonald report.
By that year UK green power could employ from 17,000 to 35,000 people, it added, based on a survey that got about a 25% response to a questionnaire sent to 2,300 firms active in onshore and offshore wind, wave, tidal, hydro, biomass, biofuels, waste-to-energy, landfill, solar thermal, photovoltaics, fuel cells, geothermal, hydrogen and energy storage industries.
