-- Senator the Hon. Ian Campbell, Australian Minister for the Environment and
Heritage
Victoria, Australia [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Six of Australia's leading companies recently declared that "Climate change is a major business risk and we need to act now," in a joint statement by the Australian Business Roundtable on Climate Change. Business and government leaders are in agreement with 98% of the world's scientists, states the release from the Australian Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE), who say we need to deploy clean energy solutions now if we are to halt runaway greenhouse gas emissions.
