Burlington County, N.J., is partnering with the aluminum industry to increase residential recycling in the area.

The county has joined the Aluminum Can Councilīs Curbside Value Partnership, in which the county will receive promotional materials to increase recycling participation in exchange for providing data on its recycling program.

The Association of New Jersey Recyclers also is working with Burlington County to roll out the ACCīs partnership program statewide if it is successful in the county.

The Aluminum Association and the Can Manufacturers Institute created the ACC to oversee the Curbside Value Partnership. They designed the partnership to increase residential recycling program participation and make programs more profitable and sustainable.
