Iran’s excessive use of gasoline is major problem

Excessive use of gasoline by the Iranians is a major problem gripping the national economy and improving the fuel usage can be considered an effective solution.
"We must follow the proper model of fuel usage and prevent smuggling," said a member of the parliament, Naser Sudani. "Oil prices will probably continue to increase as a result of the recent crises, and although the United States is urging OPEC and some oil producing countries to raise their oil production, predicting the prices is difficult," he stated.

"Unfortunately, the world’s oil producers can't set the prices on their own and these are set by those who use the highest amount of reserves," he said.
"Because of the US influence on oil markets, we may see reduction in oil prices, and based on these conditions, setting a price for Iran's oil in the national budget plan would seem to be a difficult task," the MP stated.
