Joint USAF/NOAA Report of Solar and Geophysical Activity SDF Number 073 Issued at 2200Z on 14 Mar 2006 IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 13/2100Z to 14/2100Z: Solar activity continues at very low levels. Several low B-class flares were observed from newly numbered Region 860 (S03E50). New Region 859 (S07W79) was also numbered today.
IB. Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels. Occasional B-class flares are expected from Region 860.
IIA. Geophysical Activity Summary 13/2100Z to 14/2100Z:
The geomagnetic field was quiet.
IIB. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet with isolated unsettled periods.
