Columbus, Nebraska [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] The Nebraska Center for Energy Sciences Research received the funding necessary to conduct research projects aimed at developing domestic energy resources and improving energy efficiency. Formed from the partnership of the Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), the $5 million approved by the NPPD Board of Directors will support the various research initiatives during the next five years.
