Russian Jan oil products exports up 21.8% to 7.04-mil mt: customs

Russia's oil products exports increased by 21.8% in the first month of
the year to 7.04 million mt amid high customs duties on crude exports,
according to the preliminary data released by Russia's federal customs service
Thursday. 
     Of the total, 6.73 million mt was exported to non-CIS countries, up 15%
on the year. 
     Gasoline exports dropped 12.3% year-on-year to 407,300 mt, of which
326,400 mt was delivered to non-CIS countries, down 13.2%.
     Gasoil exports rose 17.5% to 2.68 million mt in January. Of the total,
2.61 million mt was exported to non-CIS countries, up 20.8%. 
     Fuel oil exports jumped 28% on the year to 3.15 million mt. Deliveries
outside the CIS amounted to 3.11 million mt, showing a 27.5% increase
year-on-year.
    Gasoline exports to the CIS countries dropped 8.5% to 80,900 mt, while
gasoil exports to these states fell 37.3% to 71,400 mt. 
    An increase in Russia's fuel oil exports in January was also registered in
deliveries to the CIS, which rose by 53% year-on-year to 30,900 mt.
