BRUSSELS - The European Union expects Canada to meet its climate change commitments under the international Kyoto Protocol, the bloc's Environment Commissioner Stavros Dimas said on Monday.
"What I expect is that the Canadians will honour their commitments," Dimas told reporters.
Canadian Environment Minister Rona Ambrose has said the country would not reach its legally binding target to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.
