Mass. recycling coordinator wins
car in Abitibi sweepstakes

Recycle paper, win a Honda Civic hybrid car. Itīs
usually not that easy, unless youīre John Wade off Walpole, Mass.
Wade was the winner of the first Abitibi Paper Retriever customer
recycling coordinators sweepstakes, the company said.
Wade is the recycling coordinator in charge of the Paper Retriever
recycling container at Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in
Wrentham, Mass.
All of the 14,000 or so customer recycling coordinators who
participate in Abitibi-Consolidatedīs Paper Retriever program in 23 U.S.
and Canadian metropolitan areas were eligible to register online to win
the car, the company said. The coordinators promote and manage their
individual organizationīs participation in the recycling program.
"We wanted to show our appreciation for the hard work and efforts of
our customer recycling coordinators who go above and beyond to generate
awareness about the importance of recycling," said Michael Sullivan,
general manager of Abitibi-Consolidatedīs recycling division.
