BG Group's CEO Frank Chapman told journalists that investments were "only about value. If the value allocation works and the risk profile is acceptable, we will invest. If the risk is too great or the return inadequate, we will not invest, and we will make these points very clearly to the government."
- The BG CEO said Wednesday. UK producer BG said it was too early to rule out investment in Bolivia after the president's nationalization decree of May 1 that increased the earnings from gas production due to the state and altered the rights to the hydrocarbons downstream of the wellhead.
 
 
 
"[It's an] aggregate of individual crisis sentiments dragging the whole complex along. There are fundamentals at work and it's the mogas driving the complex."
A market source said as both NYMEX WTI and IPE Brent crude futures trade near all-time highs once again.
