[Presenter] The head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization has arrived
in Moscow for a follow-up on the completion of the Bushehr power plant.
[Correspondent] Our country's vice-president and head of the Atomic
Energy Organization arrived at Moscow airport today, leading a working
delegation, for talks with the head of Russia's Atomic Energy Agency.
Three of Mr Aqazadeh's deputies, the director of the Bushehr nuclear
power plant project, a number of nuclear experts and domestic reporters
are accompanying the head of the Atomic Energy Organization on this
visit.
Mr Aqazadeh, what will your talks with the Russian sides focus on
and, specifically, which topic has priority for you during this visit?
[Gholamreza Aqazadeh] In the name of God, the Merciful, the
Compassionate. Of course, the main focus of my visit at this point,
following the coordination that we had with Mr Kiriyenko in Vienna, is
to achieve a final summing up on the completion of the Bushehr project.
In view of the project's progress, up to more than 90 per cent, we
should be able to establish a definite timetable for the completion of
the Bushehr power plant project, as well as for the delivery of fuel. Of
course, alongside this, we may have other peripheral negotiations.
[Correspondent] The first round of talks between the Iranian
delegation and the Russia side will take place at 1600 today, local
time; 1630 Iranian time [1300 gmt], at the Russian Atomic Energy Agency
building.
