Country singer Willie Nelson has brought his new fuel made from soybeans to California.
The clean-burning fuel known as
"Bio-Willie" went on sale Wednseday at an alternative fuel station in San Diego.
The 72-year-old singer drew a crowd as he filled his tour bus from a pump that
featured a picture of himself strumming a guitar.
Actress Darryl Hannah -- who drives a biodiesel-powered Chevy El Camino --
joined the singer at Pearson Ford Fuel Depot, where drivers can also fill 'er
with propane, ethanol or natural gas.
Biodiesel is America's fastest growing alternative fuel, according to the U-S
Department of Energy.
