offers employees $3,000 to buy a hybrid June 7 -- Bank of America is launching a pilot program that will reimburse employees $3,000 when they purchase a new hybrid vehicle. The program initially is being offered to 21,000 workers living within 90 miles of Boston, Charlotte, N.C., and Los Angeles. Those working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for the money. Bank of America will use the pilot to determine whether to provide the benefit to all workers, the company said.
