Abdullah al-Attiyah said after the meeting between OPEC ministers in Caracas
where they agreed to leave crude output quotas unchanged for the time being in
their formal conference. The group has not scheduled any meeting before its next
ordinary meeting on September 11.

The market is oversupplied and commercial stocks are at comfortable levels in
terms of forward cover."

from OPEC on Thursday said, confirming its decision to leave crude output quotas
unchanged for the time being, saying that it believed the oil market was
currently oversupplied and that stocks were adequate.
