excuse to sell out of the market. If this was a bullish market then that news
wouldn't have had any impact on prices."
- A London-based broker
said on Thursday as Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki announced that Iraq's
al-Qaeda leader, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi had been killed in an airstrike outside
the Iraqi city of Baquba.
"On the nuclear question, we prefer cooperation to
confrontation."

agency quoted Iran's foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki as saying on Wednesday.
Iran gave a cautious reception earlier Tuesday to the international proposal
aimed at resolving the crisis over its disputed nuclear drive, saying the offer
contains "positive steps" but also "ambiguities"
