WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTCBB:WWAT.OB), a developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today announced that the company is breaking ground this week on its largest project to date, the $7.8 million Farm ACW avocado ranch project in Fallbrook, CA. Construction for the system, approximating one megawatt in size, is anticipated to be substantially completed before the end of this year. Farm ACW is a leading avocado grower with over 50,000 trees, which will likely become the largest farming operation in the world to be powered by solar energy.

"All financing and permitting matters have finally been resolved after a year spent on several complex permit issues specific to this project," said Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman of WorldWater & Power. "The rebate has also been approved by the San Diego Renewable Energy Office, and WorldWater has already begun receiving payment from the client for its services. With the start of ACW, the company also reported that it has completed four major projects in 2006 and currently has the following additional projects under construction or in the pre-engineering phase: Valley Car Wash (CA); Voorhees School District (NJ); Richard Stockton College (NJ); an architectural model home in Rancho Santa Fe (CA); and a commercial building rooftop installation in Sewell (NJ). In addition, WorldWater has several residential solar operations underway in California and New Jersey. Overseas, the company is constructing six solar water village systems in Sri Lanka for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.
