"The government should never have the power to require immunizations or vaccinations"

Dr. Ron Paul in response to the Natural Solutions Foundation's Health Freedom Score Card

Here's the Legal Background

Under the traditional interpretation of the Constitution, public health decisions are part of the state's responsibilities.

Thus, requiring compulsory vaccination of children in order to allow them to attend public school is a policy which developed state by state, with each state writing its own exemption requirements as well. In recent years, however, under the guise of "national security", the federal authorities granted themselves ultimate authority over public health care, especially in case of a government-declared emergency.

While the CDC still only "recommends" vaccinations to the states which then choose to impose them, in the event of an "emergency" the federal authorities have clearly signaled their intent to require whatever medications choose. There are no religious or other exemptions expected under such emergency circumstances. It is imperative that we create a legal case to make any such mandatory compulsory vaccination illegal and uninforceable.

Here's what Dr. Mercola has recently published on compulsory vaccination: "...a parent's religious "beliefs" are sufficient to qualify for the religious exemption. "Belief" is defined as a faith that occupies a place in their lives, parallel to that held by the orthodox belief in God, or any sincere religious beliefs that are based upon a power or being to which all else is subordinate, and on which all else is ultimately dependent... You would therefore qualify if you believe that not giving the vaccines is what you must do to follow God's will in fulfilling you role as a responsible parent, because your child's immune system is a creation of God, and to vaccinate would violate your faith in what God created..."

** There are a number of Health Freedom Heroes among our national and state legislators. We want to especially single out Assembly member Vandervalk, Bergen County, New Jersey, who said about the new toddler mercury dosed flu vaccination mandate in the Garden State, 'I'm gravely concerned about what's happening here... With New Jersey reporting the highest incidence of autism and a cause yet to be identified, we don't know what will happen. What happened to our freedom?' Councilwoman Vandervalk is a sponsor of a bill (A165) that would allow parents to opt out of the vaccine mandates by filing a "conscientious exemption" form with the local health department. Congratulations, Ms. Vandervalk!
