Opportunities in Renewable Wind Power to be Detailed in Houston in November at Infocast Meeting

The pre-tutorial workshop “Impacts of CREZ on Transmission Build-out and Wind Power Opportunities in the Texas Market” will provide an in depth analysis of the impacts of CREZ on the market. Within Texas, there is now an estimated 25,000 to 28,000 megawatts of wind capacity up for grabs, with the Transmission Optimization Study, which will lay out the technical parameters for interconnection, due by January, 2008.
