Russia's president Vladimir Putin said Thursday. He said that Russia plans to cooperate with Iran in the energy sphere and that the two countries are important partners in the sector.

-"I think OPEC has to increase production. What they did a month ago...is too little, too late."
Former Saudi Arabian oil minister Ahmed Zaki Yamani said Thursday at a London conference organized by his Center for Global Energy Studies. At a meeting in mid-September, OPEC agreed to boost physical supply by 500,000 b/d from the start of November. Yamani noted that the view within OPEC was that there was no need for additional crude production.
