Deputy General Manager of Al Qawasmi Company Riyadh Barakat told Jordanian daily Al Ghad. The first shipment of discounted Iraqi oil since the US invasion has arrived at the border with Jordan after security concerns that delayed it for almost a year. The daily quoted a source at one of the two companies that will transfer the crude from the border to Jordan's sole refinery in Zarqa as saying that eight tanker trucks have arrived carrying around 1,280 barrels of Kirkuk oil.
