Accelerating Wind Energy Growth Towards 20%

November 19 - 21, 2008
Palm Desert, CA

The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) is pleased to announce the 4th annual AWEA Wind Energy Fall Symposium being held November 19 – 21, 2008 at Desert Springs, a JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Palm Desert, California. Join over 600 wind energy professionals at this must-attend event for the most current information in wind and quality networking opportunities.

The Wind Energy Fall Symposium provides the perfect opportunity to speak one-on-one with your prospective customers, current clients, and industry colleagues in a casual resort setting conducive for business. The symposium provides a unique educational program designed for wind energy professionals working in all facets of the industry looking to learn more about the business as well as policy and technical issues of the wind industry.

Additionally, the symposium hosts two pre-conference seminars – Fundamentals of Wind Energy, offering a comprehensive tutorial on the fundamentals of utility-scale wind energy for those new to the industry, and Utilities and Wind Power, focusing on critical issues facing electric utilities as they integrate more wind power into their systems – on Wednesday, November 19. Wrap-up your Fall Symposium experience at the Golf Tournament on Saturday, November 22.

Why Attend AWEA Events?

The revenue generated from AWEA events is put right back into services that promote and advance the wind industry. Examples include promoting favorable policies (such as the PTC and RPS) through work with our government legislators, wind visibility campaigns, communicating and educating America on the benefits of wind energy, addressing environmental concerns, pushing for advanced transmission access for wind, and many others. ONLY AWEA puts your dollars to work on advancing the wind energy industry.
