"It seems that everywhere we turn, sustainable energy is the issue of our time and is becoming entrenched in the public consciousness. We're pleased Shell has come to our campus to help us facilitate this conversation.  We're in a position where we have a real opportunity to ask and answer questions."

Join us after the roundtable to engage with student teams from across the Americas as they compete to see whose vehicle travels the farthest distance using the least amount of fuel. This year's Shell Eco-marathon Americas features 38 teams from five high schools and 24 universities in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Their entries include 28 vehicles powered by combustion engines, six by fuel cell/hydrogen technology, one by diesel fuel, one by liquid petroleum gas and two by solar. The winning team receives a grand prize of $10,000 dollars for their school.
