Pennsylvania launches CFL bulb
collection campaign
Pennsylvania is launching a campaign it hopes will make it easier for residents to recycle compact fluorescent light bulbs. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection is proving collection receptacles to municipalities, small businesses and community groups across the state. It hopes the jumpstart will encourage them to continue with their own programs. Some consumers have been reluctant to switch to CFLs due to a lack of recycling options, said Kathleen A.
