"The talks are still going on now with NNPC, we are hopeful for a resolution today. Production is still shut in."
An ExxonMobil spokesman said Tuesday it is hopeful of reaching a resolution to end a strike at its Nigerian operations which has resulted in nearly 800,000 b/d of output being shut in. The company has declared force majeure on crude loadings because of the strike, which has shut in nearly 800,000 b/d of production from the Yoho, Qua Iboe and Oso fields since last week.

"We have just received confirmation from Ineos that power is being made available and that utilites have been restored to Kinneil. The Kinneil plant is being restarted and plans are in place to begin increasing offshore production throughout the course of the day."
BP has restarted the Forties Pipeline System (FPS) as critical utilities to the Kinneil Stabilisation plant required to operate the pipeline have been restored, BP spokesperson Joanne McDonald said Tuesday.
