AWWA Explores Cyber Security In The Water IndustryAugust 6, 2008
Denver, CO — To help professionals in the water sector address
vulnerabilities and reduce risks to their industrial control systems, the
American Water Works Association (AWWA) will host the webcast "Cyber
Security: Roadmap for the Water Sector" at 1 p.m. EDT, Sept. 3.
The modern control systems and communications technologies being used in the water industry have become cyber-vulnerable. The webcast will include an introduction to cyber security tools and solutions, and an overview of the "Roadmap to Secure Control Systems in the Water Sector."
