Kiev, Feb 25, 2008 -- BBC Monitoring

Power generating unit No 2 at the Rivne nuclear power plant was reconnected to the power grid at 0811 gmt on 22 February after malfunctions had been fixed, the press service of the national nuclear energy generating company, Enerhoatom, has said.

The unit was under repair from 18 February.
