next 5 years
New York (Platts)--5Mar2008
ExxonMobil said Wednesday it intends to spend more than $125 billion in
capital expenditures from 2008 through 2012.
CEO Rex Tillerson, speaking at the company's annual meeting with analysts
at the New York Stock Exchange, said ExxonMobil will participate in the
startup of 19 new projects through 2010 that, at peak, would eventually add
more than 750,000 boe/d to the company's production.
"We will invest record amounts to develop new technology, bring on new
upstream projects, increase our base refining capacity, and grow our
chemical
business," Tillerson said.
He said ExxonMobil expects to begin "multiple" LNG projects over the next
three years, though did not disclose specifics.
